Integrated Support Centre for Children "A Gaivota"
The children from the “A Gaivota” Children’s Center had a very special morning in Santa Luzia, where they attended the parade that was part of the World Octopus Day celebrations, which this year had octopus fishing as its theme.
With great joy and enthusiasm, they experienced firsthand a tradition that celebrates Santa Luzia’s connection to the sea and, in particular, to the octopus, one of the community’s most emblematic symbols.
It was a moment of conviviality, learning, and fun, which allowed the children to learn about and appreciate local traditions and culture.
